Something delightfully woodsy is sprouting at High Noon 🌱🍄
 
Join us for a special edition handbuilding workshop inspired by the forest floor in collaboration with Dehors Ensemble, a small community project growing connection and care for nature through small gatherings and shared moments of awe 🌿.
 
Over three unhurried hours, we’ll guide you through foundational handbuilding techniques as we create one small form together. From there, you’ll have space to shape 2 to 3 pieces of your own, perhaps a ceramic mushroom for your plant pots or another whimsical form inspired by spring’s awakening.
 
You’ll have the chance to finish your pieces with underglaze colours of your choice, and we’ll share a fungi fact or two along the way. Our hope is that you leave not only with beautiful handmade objects, but feeling a little more connected to nature and the season we’re stepping into.
 
This workshop will take place at La Petite Primerose, Gatineau’s newest little darling restaurant, known for serving up beautiful seasonal dishes, often featuring mushrooms like the ones we’ll be sculpting. While you’re creating, we’ll be pouring wine and serving small snacks, including their beloved homemade sourdough bread.
 
Capacity 20. No prior experience necessary. All necessary clay materials included.
